Data Analyst and Lover of Baseball and Beer
Home / About
I'm a data scientist currently living in Toronto. I've lived in Canada for a number of years, studying chemical engineering at the University of Toronto (M.A.Sc.) and McGill University (B.Eng.), but I'm originally from outside Philadelphia.
During my studies, I investigated how microbes could be used for more sustainable metals processing. In my spare time, I like to play and watch sports, primarily baseball. However, I also enjoy listening to music in all its many forms, keeping a vegetable garden, making home brewed beer and especially coding.
I work as a Data Scientist and Engineer for Constant Power, an energy storage company based in Toronto. I perform data analysis to gain insight on how to improve the operating procedure for battery systems in order to maximize savings for our clients.
In my free time, I like to analyze data and make it more accessible and fun, through the use of cool interactives while also exploring applied statistics and machine learning.
Most of my projects have to do with sports in some fashion, but I'm also an avid news reader and like to investigate things of interest to society.
